LIFE is the EU’s financial instrument supporting environmental and nature conservation projects throughout the EU, as well as in some candidate, acceding and neighbouring countries.


National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management
The National Fund of Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFEP&WM) which was established in 1989 as a result of the regime transformation in Poland, in cooperation with voivodeship funds for environmental protection and water management is the pillar of the Polish system of financing environmental protection. The basis of the National Fund’s operation as a State legal person is the Act on Environmental Protection Law.


Research Institute of Horticulture
Research Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice, Poland is a governmental R&D organization supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. It was established on January 1st, 2011, by merging two research units with long tradition and great achievements in horticultural sciences: Research Institute of Pomology and Floriculture (established in 1951) and Institute of Vegetable Crops (established in 1964). The new Institute is a legal and organizational successor of its predecessors and inherited their staff and properties as well as rights and obligations.


Institute for Sustainable Technologies – National Research Institute
Within the 25 years, the Institute has come a long way from an infant unknown R&D centre to a modern, prestigious and widely acclaimed research institute highly ranked by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education among Polish scientific and research institutions and awarded with numerous awards and honours for its innovative solutions. The Institute’s development strategy is constantly being adjusted to fit into the Polish economic reality and the EU policy, and it revolves around the global trends in innovation transfer and practical deployment, particularly in the domain of the structure and maintenance of machines and materials engineering.








The Agricultural Advisory Centre in Brwinow

The Agricultural Advisory Centre in

Brwinów, withBranch Offices in Kraków, Poznań and Radom, is a government institution subordinateddirectly to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The Centre cooperates with agricultural advisory organizations, government and self-government administration, professional organizations,

research and development units, as well as otherorganizations and institutions working for the development of agriculture and rural areas.
